Man he's looking old these days. Still sharp mind and love hearing him talk and all of his folksy, southern sayings though.

Listening now. He sounds really good.

Like Spurrier and Stallings, he has become an elder SEC statesman.

Coach Dye is one of the last of his generation. A good hard nosed football coach. Won with Defense and special teams. They don’t make them like that anymore.

Pat Dye is a certifiable moron.

Man coached hard nosed football - sort of like Bear. Don't know how it would work these days, but back in the day, you didn't frick with them.

"... sort of like Bear."
Who do you think he learned from? All Dye's championship rings have a script "A" on them.

Pat Dye is 78 years old. That’s why he looks old. Because he is.

I have also had the pleasure. I know he had to resign in disgrace from coaching, but he is still a hard man to not like. After Stallings heart attack, he took over responsibilities for being the media spokes person so the family didn't have to deal with media during that difficult time. That was very classy of him.

I've met him at several Golf Outings. He was always gracious and fun to be around (and yes he was usually drunk).
