This is what I am talking about. Very similar to what I see among the SEC HCs. Drinkwitz is up there because of his coaching and recruiting. Right before he got hired Missouri average star rating on the overall roster is rank number 13 out of 14 in the SEC. That is huge disadvantage for Drinkwitz. He is lights out on recruiting so far this year and it will take time to get the players on the field and get depth. Give him a couple of years to build his rosters up to respectable and he shall be competing for the SEC east division.

Please check the link and see if you agree to a point of the coaches ranking.
SC
Vandy
Auburn
UK
Arkansas
MSU
LSU
Tennessee-This I disagree, too high.
UGA-I am not sure. This year will tell if he makes it or not.
Mizzou
Texas A&M
Florida- I think flip Florida with Texas A&M.
Ole Miss- I have no idea but wait and see how he does this year might be too high up.
Alabama- number 1. I agree.

This is all about HC ability in general. This year we will get a good idea about the HCs ability in General. Not only recruiting but coaching the team to their ability. Some need time to get the roster to a respectable level and depth.

But it isn’t. It’s about coaching a single game. That doesn’t have anything to do with program building or recruiting. It’s based on the best game day coach.

Look at the list and why he listed them. read the list in order. Like Kirby Smart. Why so low? He isn't a top in-game HC but is a good recruiter.

I guess your HC isn't popular among SEC fans! They kept saying Auburn hired who? That is right a none big name HC that isn't going to do well against top teams. That is the truth from the SEC fans on this site.

Nice try at sounding informed you water head retard. Go look at what has been going on at the Auburn campus the last 8 days. Harsin is working circles around his former gopher Drink

This is someone who won a national championship last year and you have him this low? Remember, we’re talking about the same talent on both teams

Well that's dumb, most of the battle in college football is recruiting.

Also, Ed O has a better record against top 10 teams while at LSU than basically everyone else on this list besides Saban.

Jimbo Fisher

Maybe I am being too offensive on this list, but I have always believed you can’t win if you don’t score.

Weird that he brings up Jimbo then. Jimbo's offense has arguably been the weak point of A&M

Jimbo is pretty average when he plays teams at or above the talent level of his team, he's built a reputation on dominating a weak ACC despite several WTF losses to teams like Boston College, Georgia Tech, and Houston.

Look at his national championship year, no playoff and he faced a much less talented Auburn team that was honestly lucky to be there. He barely squeaked out a win despite having a team where all 22 starters played in the NFL.

Why isn't Harsin not near the top of the list? Because of his coaching at BSU!

There is something about this guy that makes me think that if you have equal teams, he has a pretty good chance of winning the game.

And here’s the quote about Rachel Maddow.

More than anything, Mullen knows how to push the right buttons in the pregame locker room and again at halftime. And he might be the best coach in the SEC in terms of second-half adjustments when they are needed.

Again, all about game day coaching.
