He is a freak. Best corner in the country this year by a good bit and would not surprise me if he won defensive player of year. He. Is. That. Good.
There is a reason LSU only through at Jobe and the 2 times they threw at Surtain it was 2 pass breakups.

Stingley has had a bad year and is tuned out. He is a stud but is lazy and not the same player he was last year. Surtain is very consistent

I think Surtain is one of the best players in college. You just don’t hear much about him because people don’t challenge him often (simile to Deshea Townsend several years back).
