Baylor has done more than they have recently, if we wanna go after their big dogs shouldn’t we aim higher?

People always say shite like this but get real. You think the ACC would have turned down Alabama when we sucked for a decade before Saban? Oh, but West Virginia has done more recently........

Texas has flirted with the Pac12 for years... Get while the getting's good. It all comes down to money though. Texas is a country unto itself and has huge TV markets.

That’s like saying.. I think we should go after Northwestern.. they have done more than Michigan lately..
Outside of money.. why should you take Texas?
1) Because you will really enjoy kicking our arse in every sport that we play.
2) Because Texas is really good in baseball.
3) Because Texas is arguably the most hated team in the country, perhaps 2nd or 3rd behind Notre Dame & Alabama.
4) Because Austin is a fun town to visit.
5) Because our girls/women are fricking hot.
6) Because Horns Down makes life more fun!
7) Because if you beat our arse, you will open the entire state up for recruiting..
Nevermind.
Go get Baylor. I’m sure that is a much better idea.

There is something going on relative to NIL. I'm thinking schools will align to provide the best payout for athletes. And there has to be much more going on relative to the business advantage. It's not about a strong desire to bring these teams together. This also gives OU and Texas a better chance at a Natty. Just a few stars align properly and they're in.
