Both are ranked above all SEC teams but UGA currently, and both will finish top 5. Things are about to get crazy competitive in the SEC.

I didn't realize that either are SEC. Sit down and wait your turn.

Hate to admit it, but it's true and it's coming just in time for your ballroom entrance into the big time.

Yes, and you both always wind up in the "Oh My God" level of classes. Then Texas catches fire, rolls over, and sinks. Oklahoma gets through the regular season and then someone goes full on Deliverance in the CFP.

The best thing in the world is for Oklahoma... and possibly Texas... to join the SEC where you see your highly rated class get treated like toilet paper. Not just once a year, but multiple times a year.

Then you start to build a complete team. Once that happens, well yeah, a Natty is actually within reach.

Oklahoma has 1 Top 50 commit, 4 Top 100 commits and 9 commits ranked outside the Top 300.

Alabama has 3 Top 50 commits, 6 Top 100 commits and 3 commits ranked outside the Top 300.

Man.... apparently it's hard for ou and tx fans to understand this, but let's give it one more try. Neither team is climbing to the top of the SEC in anything because your dumbasses aren't in the SEC.

And things have been competitive in the SEC just fine without ou and tx.... and you have until 2025, supposedly, before you have to concern yourself.

Texas has been recruiting at a high level for a long time.
2022 #5
2021 #15
2020 #8
2019 #3
2018 #3
2017 #25
2016 #6
2015 #10

How many times can they be "back"? They couldn't beat Big 12 teams with that talent. How do they plan on beating teams in a much more difficult conference?

Assuming Venables works out as a head coach, OU is already going to be looking very different than it has since about 2009. You’re right when talking about the previous OU staff, and the way they recruited and prepared for games, but Venables doesn’t have soft teams. He’s already recruiting the defensive side of the ball better than any OU staff has since stoops first got to OU.

Maybe once you're both in the SEC you'll learn there's more to elite recruiting than just the raw numbers on the websites.

Can't wait to steamroll your baby shite O-lines and dogshit defenses though.

I know neither will probably finish above bama this cycle, but both will finish with classes built for the SEC and up there with bama and UGA.

OUs Olines > UGA Olines over the past 5 years. And steamrolling a Venables defense? When has that happened?

You guys are joining, you will learn the folly of rankings in the Summer. Hang out with the Vols and see how that has gone forth since the 90's

Really looking forward to your first taste of reality over the course of an SEC season.

You have no idea what is coming physically week after week after week.

Pretty much every time they played a really good offense once teams figured out the whole sign stealing thing.
