Which is kind of strange that people who are not these people, but willing to help is something you choose to deried. OU made a choice to help others. Sorry if that does not mean a lot to you. The LSU fan was one of the first to make a negative comment.

This is the first Hurrican in the Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas area that I have not personally worked in over two decades. But, I moved to AZ last Fall and have not gotten to be part of that. I have already sent two of my generators and 500' of 10/3 plus splitters (plus heavy chains and locks to where I will get them back) from AZ, like I have every hurricane after 1999. Sorry if you say because I am an outsider, you don't appreciate it. There are some who have.

Again, I don't expect you to understand.

You are an idiot. What do you know about that girl? How many of your black Football players would be just fine with a drunk girl repeatedly calling you the N word over and over, then when you had enough and was going to leave she did again, but this time slapped you as hard as she could.

And what part of the fact that she was arrested because she was a known drug dealer who had skipped bail and her friend, also calling the player the N word messed up causing her to be arrested on previous warrant.

I sure it might dent the angle wings of some of your football players.

They don't believe Mia had anything to do with the incident (it was all her and her friends BTW), even though she publicly apologized for her role in it.

They're simpletons who saw a video clip once.

Thank you for your help. Not all of us are unable to appreciate help from others with kind hearts. There are many who do appreciate it and who would return the favor to you if the opportunity ever arose.

First off, good on you, not gonna run anyone down who is actually helping.

It was your holier-than-though first post that rubbed me and others the wrong way.

Thank you. I do it because I grew up dirt poor in the middle of Oklahoma and was taught by my grown-in-Alabama mom that everything including my breath is a grace gift.

It is always a group effort. When Houston was hit, one of the first calls I made was to my friends in the Cajun Navy. Sitting at a phone in Fort Worth and buying truck loads of sheetrock and insulation to be put in warehouse in Baton Rouge or Hammond is easy. I can't tell you how thankful I am for Georgia Baptist sending portable showers. But I honestly would cry sometimes at night, after telling widows, elderly, and single moms that, yes we can clean and dry your stuff. But, know this; the mold will come back and you will have to throw it away later.

I never did anything but a small part. But I will tell you, I am proud to be from Oklahoma. That baby you saw the fireman holding from the OKC explosion, was the grandaughter of my very best friend's sister. A schoolmate of mine was looking out the window with her boss and said "why is that man parking that truck there" and stepped away. The boss standing beside her had half her face blown off.

Life is short. I am Sooner born, Sooner bred and when I die will be Sooner dead. But people's lives are more important than any of that.
