The last school to take a coach from another school with a National Title was Tennessee in 1976 and that was Johnny Majors coming home.

A&M’s envy of LSU Football is just pitiful
What we've seen LSU football accomplish this century will never happen at A&M. Never. Ever. Unless rules change to the point that Football becomes a sissy game.
As of now is a smash mouth physical game. That’s just not Aggie. Cheer boys are grabbing each other's nuts on A&M's sidelines. The Bear couldn't win NC there. You moved to the SEC while Texas was horrible….had the best player A&M will ever have….. If that wasn’t the perfect time to shine no moment ever will be. LSU was past its prime and sill has abused you like rented mules 7 straight times. LSU has horrible administration a coach no one will ever want and is still spanking you.
Fisher is a good coach. He'll have a few good seasons if he gets the time but A&M will never be elite. Never. You can hire whoever, spend 6 billion dollars in whatever you want. Is just not going to happen. You are a second fiddle program with gay traditions.
