Yesterday, I posted it was hoak, but apparently that was just wishful thinking on a few Ohio state fans part. Cbssports.com confirms day named fields, but Ohio state fans are split. Interesting.

Everyone has known since January fields was going to be the starter and I'm sure they're happy about it.

Fields isn't a 5* QB if he were he would have been able to beat out Fromm. In fact, nothing Fields showed at Georgia proved he was worthy of his ranking. Georgia is better off without him.

He was a five star and it was his first year last season. Not everyone jumps right in and becomes an instant star. There was nothing Dee Milliner showed to be a first round draft choice after his freshman year.

Fields has 5* talent and a 2* attitude. If he actually matures and grows out of his sense of entitlement he can be truly great. Until then, he’s going to end up disgruntled same as Tathan Martell. Hate that he couldn’t get out of his own way in Athens because he very well could have been a Junior starter for us next year with an all world offense around him but maybe a change of scenery and the pressure of being the only option in Columbus is what he needs to grow up

The problem is that OSU could go 12-0 with the Equipment manager at QB.

That schedule is so easy, and I guarantee you after a couple of weeks the media will talk about how Georgia mismanaged Fields, and that he’s better than Fromm.

It was always gonna be Fields... Day, said last week that Fields had only taken snaps with the 1st team; and he had taken the majority of those snaps. He also said that Hoak had been running mainly 3rd.

So if you posted it was Hoak; you did no research at all!

It was always going to be Fields. Hoak was just coach speak. No one should have ever doubted this.

You know who thinks Fields has a bad attitude.. is fans. The coaches and players, all of them have had nothing but praise for him.

That’s patently false. Players and coaches aren’t going to trash him to the media (note that none have done that about Cox either) but privately neither are well thought of in Athens.

Wasn’t Fromm a 5* QB too?

Fields is a good kid. My exs brother grew up with him and he was around some. Always a nice kid.

Ok... especially since every time there is something on social media about him; UGA players like it.

Keep spinning the bad attitude; but it’s just not accurate

Judging with how big the Ohio state fan base is, and that he claims the fan base is split

The group has to be at least 700k people

I'm not doubting you, but I always hear people say this and I wonder how they could possibly know that this is the case. Do people say that because he transferred? Because the camera mic picked him up saying "I handed the ball off good as frick" after the USC game last year?

I am not doubting that you may have some way of personally knowing, but there are a lot of people who have no way of knowing about his attitude who speak poorly of him because of sour grapes that he transferred.

Again, anyone with eyes knows that Fromm was the better option which is what made it so perplexing that your head coach kept trying to insert Fields into the game.
