I went to the 2011 season opener in Dallas for LSU vs Oregon. Their fans talked so much shite before the game. All I heard was about that west coast speed and how our DB's couldn't cover the WR's. Couldn't find one fan around the bars after the game. It was like Nike beamed them all back right after the game.

Strange bunch at the MNC game in Arizona too. Their idea of smack talk was making that "O" sign with their hands and yelling roll tide.

They were really weird. All in their matchy matchy jumpsuits. Strange bunch.

OREGON TALKS UP GEORGIA AND AUBURN

Is it just me? or can you not wait for Georgia to destroy these fools?

So you know Auburn plays them next year, and it is in the title of your link, but you just mention you can't wait for Georgia to destroy these fools.

Seems suspect.

Meh. They were ranked #5 in the country. It's not like they were the Citadel or something.

That game was a perfect scenario for Boise. They had over 20 5th year seniors on that team and UGA was kind of starting over after that awful 6-7 season. No doubt though, they kicked our behinds that night

We will see how they do against Auburn and Georgia. I'm more surprised they hauled out the old corkscrew duck pecker and started waving it at Boise State after the Broncos laid some pipe on Oregon back when Oregon was a top 5 team. Twice in a row.

Still, if you want to play in the CFP you can't fart around if you are from the PAC-12. You need a high profile OOC game to boost your profile, especially if you get tagged with "how did that happen" game in conference.

Have you been full of "SEC pride" each time Bama has won a Natty?

Were you full of "SEC pride" seeing Bama and UGA play for the title?

Sure was.

My boys need to all gain about 10 pounds of muscle, shave .2 seconds off their 40 times, and magically attract top 5* talent to Eugene in the next few years to even have a chance of keeping that game with Georgia competitive. Don't let the bad apples of the fanbase represent us as a whole, we all know we're probably getting smacked.

When they play in 2022 there will only be about five players that are freshmen this year that will still be on either team. Who knows what these two teams will look like in four years from now. They may run Cristobal off before then.

When it comes to SEC teams in OOC games, I might pull for a conference team to beat your head in but OOC I like to see SEC teams do well. It makes us all look better. I know, or have known, fans from just about every team in the conference and they are all about the same kind of folks. We all take pride in our teams and we all have a streak of red down our necks. I don't think I have ever known any Vanderbilters. If they are like some of these other private school people they might think theirs doesn't stink.
