What about those SEC teams that shite the bed the past two years? Is it possible teams might get better in 2023?

Clemson would be a much better choice.

that would be terrible for Clemson b/c Clemson has the SEC alternative / underdog thing going for it.

Watching teams like aTm and Vandy claw their ways back from the Sun Belt after having Costal Carolina and Troy get $50M for a single season of SEC Network money? frick yeah.

Who wouldn't be down with that?

Already have the football tv money. Let’s get paid in the rest of the sports. Play the long game.

Probably never should’ve allowed A&M and Mizzou in. I base that solely on geography because neither are in southeastern states. I realize that train has long left the station (conferences being geographically aligned) but I’m an old traditionalist. With that said, Clemson, FSU, UNC and NC State are the best true to form southeastern schools out there.

You hired a coach that finished 5-6 in his final year in a conference that is weaker than the BIG XII, Moon-Moon.

Exactly my point.

This is the correct answer.

A&M being last just shows how strong the West is, Georgia pussies.

Delegation to lower leagues would kill the fight of most fanbases. So, no.

Just start your own damn league.

TAMU lost both games against its SEC East opponents; a now 7-4 SCAR and a 6-4 Florida who just lost to Vandy.

UGA beat State easily, who tapped your arse 42–24.

UGA beat Auburn easily, who you couldn't beat even when they had a guy coaching his second game at ANY level.

Texas A&M also lost to a team that is tied for 4th place in the East this season; the Sun Belt East that is.

There are good arguments to be made about the SEC Eest being better than the East, but TAMU's placement at the bottom on the SEC-W has nothing to do with that.

I think I'm the lone TCU guy here.

One of the issues that TCU has is it's religiously affiliated. Thus, a number of conferences do not want them. The Pac-12 didn't want them -- I think it was Cal that kept them out.

But, to TCU's credit, they're really not afraid of anyone. And they relish being the underdog.

But A&M and UT would do everything they could to keep them out, so I don't think there's any chance of that happening. The Metroplex is good recruiting grounds, and the other Texas schools want to be able to sell the SEC to those recruits. If TCU were able to do that, it would spoil that pitch.
