Feel like that 2016 championship will follow him around like Derrick Henry’s stiff arm on Josh Norman. I honestly hope he sticks around unlike the 8000 other assistants that leave and inevitably attempt to haunt Nick Saban in some form or fashion. I’d love to see him get another shot at Venables.

IMO he looks like he’s doing a good job. Without something else weird happening in 2020 it should be Bama and Clemson in the title game

The problem has never been Sark. The only close bad thing Sark has been seemingly associated with was Lane being Lane and then losing the 2016 NC but not Sark's fault at all.
Honestly, I would love it if Sark was our OC.
Digression here ...
And until last season, it's not been the defense either. Now, you guys are stuck with an awesome Big 12 team. I think you guys could win the NC as is but the defense could use some work after that Ole Miss game.

We’re having meals still, me included, because we don’t like this brand of football and watching your defense get prison raped when your history has always been great defense even when Bama sucked in early 200s is difficult to watch.

He would be the coach at State right now if Leach had said no. Someone will hire him as a HC again soon. He did a good job at Washington relative to where they were when he got there, and then he wasn't really at SC long enough to judge him before his personal issues flared up.
Bama having good offenses and Saban clearly being a fan of his will get him a HC job again in the next year or two if I had to guess.

There was head coach interest last season from some teams including Colorado
I'm guessing some schools will pass due to the alcohol issues that got him fired at USC
I do think someone will take a chance on him in the offseason or after next season.

Some big jobs will be open soon. Sark was right to wait it out.
