It's clear Feleipe Franks has improved, but he still shows the same tendencies that made him an average to below average quarterback early in his career. It appears when he's under pressure that he still tries to make something out of nothing and is very susceptible to throwing an interception. Also, the fumble on the exchange with Perine stood out for me because it appears he's thinking too much about always having to make plays, instead of just letting the game play out. Honestly, I didn't see a qb that could beat LSU's defense, especially if we can pressure him and force him into trying to making a play instead of just throwing it away. What are your thoughts?

I don’t think he’s really improved much at all. His yards came from mainly two long runs after catch.

Tua can and has beaten LSU, so has Franks and Mond.

Franks is what he’s always been - a big armed, big bodied, big ego QB who has issues with accuracy and decision making.

He’ll put up solid numbers in Mullen’s offense, but he would have been what Brandon Harris was if he came here. Their defensive line scares me more than their offense.

He has enough experience where he shouldn't have first game jitters. His bitch behavior is uncalled for and is magnified when he can't back it up with decent play.

I completely agree. Hope he's benched and quits.

He is an immature prick...I'm glad he didn't end up in BR.

It’s very simple. He’s the kind of qb that gets you beat

Not the one you win because of

And it doesn’t help his act will wear thin if it already hasn’t.

hes Not good, but I think he is athletic enough to pull a game out of his rear end and beat someone he shouldn’t. Florida is very athletic in defense. If they get it figured out they’ll keep Florida in most games.

I think he can definitely beat them, especially if he is in the zone again.

I did not see that last night. He is not a leader of a team.

Franks is a huge douche which makes people think he’s worse than he is. He’s progressed into a serviceable QB, but still has a ways to go if the Gators want to be anything more than average on offense. I don’t think Mullen did him any favors with the play calling.
