That alone should keep them from hosting.

College baseball daily projections have 5 SEC hosts as well as Clemson and Ariz. State. Indiana as a 2 seed in Louisville.

Is there not also a bidding process where the hosting sites are concerned? I seem to remember there is always a bidding process, where the host school has to guarantee X number of dollars be automatic to the NCAA.

All of these projections contradict each other. Nobody fricking has a clue until all the baseball is played.

You have one more series and then the SEC tourney...both of which are big for Arkansas and MSU.

Anyone that wants to host a regional and or super have to put in a bid. I am not sure the money part or guarantee plays as big a role as in long ago days. I think anyone that expects to host puts in a decent bid. Why wouldn't you?

Proves nothing. Helps or hurts seeding in the tournament, getting in or being left out (depending on your situation), or gives you an automatic entrance to the NCAA Regionals if by chance you would have been left out and you win in Hoover. I understand resting players and "not trying" and all that super team bullshite LSU and USC put out there but these are competitive 18-22 year old kids. They want to play hard and win.

Paul Mainieri didn't say anything resembling "not trying"; he said he was going to rest Our Ace pitcher who is the only pitcher in the SEc to have thrown four complete games. Dont know where you got "not trying" from that.

You don't have a vote. Mississippi State will play their way to whatever the selection committee determines. That "Moo State" deal is always a special little deal. So, Nola is resting against Ole Miss this weekend. If he doesn't pitch in the tournament, get back with me.
