One positive is the fact we don’t have to hear about Cam as the greatest of all time

Another positive is LSU has taken care of the majority of the OU & Climpson pollution on this board, at least for the time being. Hopefully, tOSU as well.

Actually you might, and you definitely still have to hear about 1980 being the last time you won a natty.

Well we also never had to hear about an all world UGA QB either so we're even.

I was with you until...

They'll never shut up about Cam, which is understandable. But we've had at last a handful of "once a generation" QB's since Cam - Burrow, Deshaun Watson, Manziel, Lamar Jackson, Tua to an extent, and probably a couple more I'm missing.

its a tough comparison, Burrow's daggers were usually passes, Cam's were usually runs. both seasons were fantastic.

But really, the difference between the two seasons is essentially a semifinal rout of Oklahoma. do we really want to give OU that kind of mention? lets just say both players/seasons were the pinnacle.

Nope. You put Burrow on that 2010 team, and Auburn loses multiple games.

bs. don't be so insecure. Both teams are undefeated with either qb

Is that why joe had 1,700 more total yards and 15 more total tds?

Running AU's 2010 offense, I somewhat agree.

Running LSU's 2019 offense, I disagree.

Put Cam on this team, and Jefferson and Chase are mid to late round draft picks

Playing the extra game and having a much better supporting cast? Yes, one would have to say those are contributing factors.

Oh ok

lets do a per game analysis

Burrow

76.3%--402.6 total yards/g--4.33 total tds/g--0.4 int/g--202 rating

Cam

66.1%--309.1 total yards/g--3.64 tds/g--0.5 int/g--182 rating

To put this nicely, those seasons arent comparable

FIFY

here you go, again

Burrow

76.3%--402.6 total yards/g--4.33 total tds/g--0.4 int/g--202 rating

Cam

66.1%--309.1 total yards/g--3.64 tds/g--0.5 int/g--182 rating
