On another note, that's a shocking stat. Fail half the time to be among the elite corners on the planet. Gotta feel bad for NFL corners, they can't sneeze on a receiver without drawing a flag

Dre always had the physical tools, he just wasn't as great as Bama fans hyped him in college. He is actually better right now than he was in college.

Uh... one would assume that once a guy goes to the NFL, gets more intensive coaching, goes against the elite of the elite in practice and games, and focuses in since its his JOB, that a player would improve, no? Why is this noteworthy?

I'm not so sure Dre Kirkpatrick is the hill you want to die on... A guy who has never made pro-bowl or all-pro or NFL top 100 list or pretty much anything of significance.... Not a bad player just a strange one to bring up in this context while a player like Derrick Henry is having a great start to the season

Is OP dying on the hill of Dre Kirkpatrick? I didn't get that from this thread.

Doesn't count. ESPN never mentions him so he can't possibly be any good.

He's played 7 years, made $50M, got a 2nd contract from the team that drafted him and been very good at his job, even elite at it (as noted above).

He's had an very good and long NFL career after being routinely laughed at as a bad NFL player and a bust by most here.

Guys, I would like to announce that after being in my current job for the past 3 years, I’m actually better at my occupation now than I was as a college student/part time intern.
