Mike Ayers, from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC (my hometown) has decided to retire after 30 years building that program from the depths of being the worst D2 program in the country to a national championship caliaber FCS program. Well done Coach Ayers, always did things the right way.

Always hated playing Wofford. They gave us fits with their offense. Wofford grads are some of the best folks around though. Seems like all of them come to either Columbia for law school or med school or go to MUSC in Charleston. My best friends in law school were Wofford grads.

If we offer, will he take over for Matt Luke?
