I'm ok with #2 for now. It takes the target and the pressure off their back a little and none of it matters if they keep going out and taking care of business.

This should worry you as a Kentucky fan. Auburn will be hungry to prove themselves

Meh. We’re at Kansas the next Saturday. If we win 1 of the 2 we’re a top 10 team. Win both and we’re the best team in the country.

CBS currently has us ranked at #1

what has happened to date has no bearing on that. Just look at the poll this week.

His Twitter mentions are pretty funny. Good work Auburn fans.

He does not use it consistently. Therefore, your assumption is crap.
Newell has Auburn (19-2) unranked.

Thats bull but it’s fine. Bruce can use it all week to motivate the team.

Wait until UT and OU joins the SEC. The hate and resentment toward the SEC outside the South will be worse than Trump in 2020.

Worried lol? Auburn has a home game against Kentucky which will most likely be a driving factor in who wins the SEC. If they’re worried about a ranking instead of the game at hand and what it brings…then auburn fans should be worried

I think there’s a slim chance Kentucky beats Auburn but maybe Calapari can get lucky.

Come on Blue Blood….Quit trying to make it something it is not. Everyone knows it is a long way to March with a number of teams that can make the run.
What Pearl is doing at Auburn, the players he is bringing in… you damn right it is absolutely wonderful and a joy to watch. And yes sir… it would be nice to be rated #1. After all, that why the games are played right?
Perhaps, one day when Kentucky football gets in to serious contention for championships you will understand our excitement.

RedditCFB is dragging that arse now. He's rustled some jimmies with his ballot.

Eh. I'm more worried about UK. They are playing at as high a level as I've seen right now. Even at home, that might be a tough game to pull off.

Are you anxious to get #1 ASAP because you fear losing it?

You know how much being ranked #1 in the AP poll this early in the season is worth?
About this much.
About this much.

I mean dropping a game or two is bound to happen, so yeah, having it would be pretty cool from a historic standpoint.
