One bright spot to come out of Saturday for A&M: Enlightenment

Yeah, our game with Clemson was less than ideal, but I do believe we can end up a lot better by the end of the season.
TBS, it's somewhat gratifying that LSU (and many other SEC fans who have paid attention) got to see what kind of entitled, condescending douchebaggery we left behind.
I've never really minded any of the trash talk on this board or just among SEC fans. Even when one school beats another 7 times in a row, it never reaches the arrogance and pure conceit of the whorns.
Don't EVER let that cancer into the SEC.

Doesn’t matter. No one cares. But thank you for the garbage touchdown at the end to cover the spread! That paid nicely.

I have never seen a fan base and team talk so much crap and act like they have arrived and then the next day act like all is well after getting thoroughly beaten.
Even worse you are spending all your time living vicariously through LSU after they beat Texas. Just because you wear the SEC patch doesn't make you a top program. You have some good players and a fine coach who understands the price of everything but the value of nothing.
As a Clemson fan, I should be rooting for A&M to be decent with our weak schedule, but I can't do it. Bama, LSU and UGA are all losses with Auburn a likely loss. Enjoy your 7-5 season, and living vicariously through Bama as you finish 4th in the West.

A&M fans are really the only SEC fans that I probably couldn’t enjoy having a beer with. Basically because I get the feeling they have a closet of A&M shirts and then one of Bama shirts to wear when they lose. Add that to bragging about the Tax Slayer Bowl and it’s
comical. And the fact they beat their little selves off on the State House is pretty strange. Most of them seem odd

A&M fans are in person for the most part nice folks, but their attitude towards A&M is not very different than what you described. Mostly in the entitlement part, which is ridiculous given actual results. Maybe it’s a Texas thing. Texas at least has actually been relevant at times.
