I mean after all, gotta do what you gotta do to win
ETA: put drugs in quotations due to fact that including marijuana in categories with pharmaceutical pills and illegal drugs (especially medical marijuana which is used to treat epilepsy) is as delusional as UCF claiming the 2017 national championship.

LES kicked off the best player on his team for weed. Regardless how many times he failed, I have a hard time seeing some other coaches doing that, period

Didn't he fail like 5 drug tests before then though?

If you are talking about Honey Badger didn’t he fail many any tests?
Posted on 1/31/18 at 1:15 pm to lsupride87
why let someone fail 10 test ? That's pretty lenient.

That would be the girl's basketball coach in my high school. We used to buy weed from him.

Was Saban the judge in Louisiana for that ordeal?

Seriously, the government/local authorities/NCAA/NFL...etc, making such a big deal out of pot is really starting to bother me.
I am tired of seeing lives ruined over the idiotic and draconian weed laws in this country. Teenagers can spend up to several years in jail by possessing tiny amounts if they go before the wrong judge in the wrong state. It's ludicrous. Marijuana was legal in this country for a longer period of time than it has been illegal.
If a player is caught with weed and it's against the law, he should be punished. But these kids get hurt every day playing football, with that in mind, what would we prefer our own children to be taking for pain at that age? Marijuana or Opiates? One has never killed anyone and doesn't cause physical dependence, the other kills thousands every year and does cause extreme physical dependence. As someone who is currently physically dependent on pain pills after a botched shoulder surgery, I would 100% choose marijuana if I could.

I would like to see a league of all drug-user football players. That would be pretty cool.

Sumlin promised Speedy Noil no drug tests if he signed with us

He would've been kicked off of Georgia's team before Les did it.

Marijuana shouldn't be classified as a drug but I have no problem for a coach having a rule against it. Would you want a kid that smokes cigs or drinks everyday on your team? Knowing that college kids are all likely to try these things makes me ok with allowing them to fail more than one or two test. They are most likely all gonna try it and good chance to get caught. But if I was a coach, I would definitely ban it like cigs and alcohol.

Do you use as a pain reliever? I've never found weed to help with pain. As a muscle relaxer it's great, but not so much with acute pain
