I'd be surprised if he coaches again. Seems like he was having health problems near the end at OSU

He supposedly left Ohio State due to health problems. So that’s interesting.

Would be an amazing hire. He struggled his last few years at OSU but you can’t deny he had some damn good teams. If he pulled an urban Meyer and just needed to reset and he’s past his issues pay the man whatever he wants and make the announcement Monday.

I would be shocked if Ole Miss hires Matta. His back forced him to leave Ohio State last year and I don’t think you could hire a coach with health issues. I think Kermit Davis at MTSU is the favorite right now.

not really. his struggles were all relative to when he was taking OSU to final fours and elite eights and winning the big ten. he is still the coach at OSU and they are still a top program if his back issues didnt catch up to him
