Serious discussion here. We see it in High schools within the SEC. Tx kid in wrestling.

Now the Olympics will allow it. When will we see Guys who could not make it in Baseball or Basketball "claim to switch" to make it on girl teams etc?

I think it’s safe to say the whole Transgender fad won’t catch on in the land of DIXIE

It will be very interesting where the line is drawn in all of this. If this is managed poorly there will be a lot of men in women’s sports in 30 years

Missouri will lead the way. They're gonna get a national championship in this century or die trying.

True.

I doubt this thread will remain about a sports discussion at all, and will devolve into tit-for-tat political jabs instead.

One of the saddest things I’ve seen in the past few years was one of the women’s long distance running events at the last Summer Games. They let a man compete because he was transgender, and of course he destroyed the field. All the announcers could talk about was how brave and progressive it all was, but my heart really went out to the poor girl who finished second. She had spent her life training for that moment, so that she could say she was the best woman on the planet at that particular event, and she was, in fact, the best woman on the plant at that particular event. But, they took the moment she had worked for away from her so they could give it to a mentally ill man and then stand around congratulating themselves for being so brave and forward-thinking. It was really revolting.

I thought this was the other way around. Girl trying to become a boy, but still competing with girls despite testosterone injects.

That is the case for that one, but I think they will allow dickless dudes to compete against women as well.

They do this now but I suspect it will have the same long term impact that letting the East Germans dupe their athletes did... it will last for a while and once the outcry gets big enough they will quietly change it.

The African (that has balls inside its groin) 800 meter Olympics WOMENS champion wore a "Mens" tracksuit.

All ways are screwed up.
Girl identifies as boy and takes testosterone will crush other girls.
Boy identifies as girl but had natural testosterone for 15 years will crush other girls despite the blockers.

Lose, lose for the girls.
And we won't see the converse in sports because of obvious physics (girls identifying as boys won't compete against boys because of the disadvantage. Boys identifying as girls with blockers won't compete against other boys).

I for one eagerly await the day we get to see some random women's hoops coach assemble a team of 5 DII quality men's basketball players beat the hell out of UConn.

I think that'd be hilarious.

So do you have to “tuck” or not? Need a ruling here for betting purposes during the Winter Olympics curling events.
