Ole Miss looked really improved last season. I think the Nutt hire was a great one from the start. That said, they are still a few years away for contending with LSU and Alabama for the West title. I hope I'm wrong and it's next year, cause I love the competition and want them to have a good record when we beat them in their stadium.

Next year is the year when the best recruiting class in Ole Miss history are seniors. It's the payoff year. We'll compete for the west next year, after that we'll probably drop off unless we have some underclassmen who really step up.

Let's hope for it, I have Ole Miss ties and I'm sick of them never wanting to talk football because LSU has owned y'all for a while now. This rivalry needs to be less one-sided, and last year was a good start.

And FWIW, no matter how good our team was the time I was in college, (03-08), that late season Ole Miss game would scare the shite out of me.

Ole Miss plays harder against LSU than any game on the schedule.

We deserve to be considered with Bama and LSU as contenders in the West

Ole Miss will have their hopes crushed next year. Not saying they were not a great team last year, but you will not be in the same league this year with Florida, Bama, or LSU. I like the fact that you love and support your team, but come on, one good season does not make you NC's. IMO the west will be between BAMA/LSU with Auburn as my sleeper

Our evidence is a good team from last year returning 16 starters and Greg Hardy. With a schedule that has both Alabama and LSU at home.

You have what exactly to base your argument off of?

IMO I just do not see OLE MISS having the success they did last year. You were able to sneak up on some teams, but that advantage is gone this year. Teams will prepare harder and you will not get the element of surprise. TIFWIW

Absolutely - anything is possible. We could very well flop in the face of expectations.

However, I'm not sold on Bama or LSU next year. Neither team has a proven QB. Bama will have a great D, but their offense is suspect w/ a new Oline and QB. LSU has question marks on both sides of the ball.

Our defense played great last year in the last 6/7 games, plus we have Snead who finished the year on fire, and most of our offensive playmakers back.

Florida is in a class of their own.

About nothing.

The only team we snuck up on was Florida.

LSU had a terrible season last year. No Excuses for that. What I will tell you is that we will be much improved on both side of the ball, and with the experience some of our guys got last year we are going to be in the hunt for the SECCG. As far as OLE MISS, not saying you want be good, but I do expect yall to lose 4-5 games next year. Snead is great, no doubt, so is Greg Hardy. I wil be the first to eat crow if my predictions arent true

I'm expecting LSU to be good. Don't worry, I know y'all aren't going to suck two years in a row.

The thing is, I'm having a hard time to find games that I think we're going to lose. LSU, Alabama, and Auburn all have a good chance to beat us. Arkansas could as well. The thing is, we get three of them at home and you know we're going to at least play Alabama and LSU very tough. We could lose 4-5, but I think three is more likely.
