It was right there. You knew it was the right thing to do. All you had to do was play like you had arms and you could have put this team out of its misery. But, no, you couldn't do it. You let it live, and now it will go on to kill everyone in the family with its slobbering, crazed self.

At the very least, we could be having a real conversation about getting a coach at Bama. Instead, you've prolonged the inevitable, probably by a full year. When Bama loses to UK, everyone will say, "Sure, but it's UK!" Hell, because the rest of basketball sucks so bad, they might even sneak into the tournament, and then all the talking heads will talk about how "Avery rebuilt that Bama team and has them in the tournament two years in a row." Nobody will look at how they've gotten there and what an underachieving pile of shite Avery Johnson coached teams have been. Bama fans will have to suffer through another year of "basketball" where the only players on the team that look somewhat competent are freshmen who haven't had time to learn much of Avery's "teaching."

And that's all your fault, Ole Miss. All you had to do was pull the trigger and put us down. Pa would have brought you that pretty pony you've been wanting and called you a "man." But you didn't. You've let us all down.
