Hello, nerds. We meet again. You have beat us sometimes when you weren't supposed to. But this time we have the Lane Train at our helm and you have...(checks Duck Duck Go)... Clark Lea at the head of your class.

Saturday will be no spelling bee, science fair, or math lab competition thing. Ole Miss has a lot of big guys who may not be able to read Goodnight Moon, but they can read pass routes and play signals. So we got that going for us.

Here's to a clean game (SEC Refs-LOL) and no injuries on Saturday.

But will the nerds prevail on Saturday?

Obligatory:

Please don't bring your learning books down to Mississippi. All we want is football and whiskey this Saturday.

Well you did name your most popular bar the Library, so don’t get mad when it’s filled with 10’s of Vandy fans.

I don't know if our few Vandy fans will be here so I'll try.

frick Ole Miss, frick that Bear and the Landshark. You gave your balls away when you served up Colonel Reb after all he's done for you. frick Kiffin and all the Mannings that have went there, not went there or may go there.

Vandy is going to skullfrick Ole Piss.

That WR (Matthews?) was a warrior. He had a hell of a game. Gutsiest performance by a college athlete I've ever seen.

Watson Brown. Mack Brown's older brother. He spent a very long career in the football trenches.

And of course, Jay Cutler.

what a leader that young lady is. after being down and unhappy with her team's reaction during the game, she gave this speech:

-"I was like - what the heck, (Becky)?"

I cannot hate Vandy. Have three first cousins who graduated from there. Have been to several games in that stadium and had great times in Nashville. Series dates back to the 1890's, I believe. My degree is from Sewanee, another founding member of the SEC. In the early twentieth century, both Vandy and Sewanee were football powers. Two small, private schools that did well for a while.
