Ole Miss today will be the same for the next 5 plus years

No bowl game. 2-10 3-9 type seasons for the next 5 years.
0-8 In the SEC.

We said the same thing about them after Nutt left, after their NCAA sanctions came down, and now you are saying it after the sanctions were lifted. I hate Ole Miss with an undying passion, but this thread is just normal BamaNatureBoy ****ry on display.

Ole Miss is fuuuucked next year after their QB, top three receivers and possibly the best running back they’ve had in 10 years are all gone. If I were them, I’m firing Luke after next year but they have at least a three year rebuild. The only thing helping them is State also should be taking a huge step back after this year too.

State will take a step back, but not a huge step. Defense will still be good, and hopefully we see some offensive improvement. Their schedule gets easier too.

State loses it's starting QB, who isn't good but if the backup wasn't better than him this year that's concerning. State loses their entire defensive line, likely loses their best LB Lewis, and 3/4 starters in the secondary. I don't see how they wouldn't take a huge step back from what they've been the past 2 years.

We likely don’t lose any LBs. In the secondary, we lose Abrams, and I believe that’s it. On the DL, we lose Simmons and Sweat, which will certainly make our DL worse, but if you look at the players staying, we actually return a lot of DL experience. So yes, with the loss of Abrams, Simmons, and Sweat, we should expect a step back, but no, I don’t expect it (nor should anyone else) to be a huge step back.
