I believe State sent more than that 2 years ago, with the distance being 4X the distance as Bham.

"Mississippi State fans are rewarding the Gator Bowl for inviting them to play on New Year’s Day for the first time since 1998. As of Sunday night, MSU had sold its allotment of 15,000 tickets and had requested 2,000 more from the Gator Bowl. There is also little concern that Michigan will sell its allotment of 12,500 tickets.Catlett said a sellout, based on 77,000 seats available, is likely to be announced as early as today."

It was the first time state had won 8 games since the civil war. Merlins had the inbreds all in

Pretty sure sales were like this for Nutt's first Cotton Bowl too. Those were at least $100 tickets.

I have no doubt in my mind you are being completely serious.

Yeah I think we sold like 19,000 through the school for the Cotton Bowl in Nutt's first year. Then the rest were bought through other ticket companies. I think we had like 40k at that game.

Thousands more were bought the day of the game. Cerealsly though, congratulations on the sell out to the Birmingham BVVA Compass bowl. Much deserving for the Blackbear faithful.

Quit being a douche. We've been getting along with the maroon M's lately. Don't come in all Johnny-come-lately and frick it up

We basically took over Dallas. It was awesome.

You would think that it was a better bowl by the way the ticket sales are going for the Gator.

Dallas loved Ole Miss for two years in a row. It was a blast.

Ole Miss travels and spends big wherever they go. Nashville screwed up this year.

We're playing $15 dirty Santa at work Friday. I'm going to buy 15 tickets to the Gator Bowl just to be a dick.
