3-3 is a TREMENDOUS stretch. 1-5 not likely but not impossible either.

I said we were favored in 3 games "currently". Vandy, SEMO and Auburn. It's not that big a stretch

Ole Miss has not had consecutive wins over Auburn since the 1951/1952 seasons.

It finally happens next year.

so why do you say 3-3 is a "tremendous" stretch?

AU is quickly climbing the ladder as one of my least favorite teams. Mainly because they burn OM every fricking year on at least one or two recruits.

If Manziel somehow is hurt prior to the A&M Game - you may be looking at a 3-3 start.

OM does not beat Bama or Texas period. Vanderbilt gives you fits. The odds are against back-to-back Rebel wins over Auburn.

I'd love to hear the reasoning behind this.

Agreed but we will still be favored and they are breaking in a new QB and starting RB

Maybe the odds are against us but again we will be favored and should win that game.

FWIW and IIRC, their OL gave up quite a few sacks in their spring game.

I don't really pay attention to performances in spring games

Vanderbilt. I don't know a lot about either team but I think Vanderbilt will struggle to make a bowl (if they do at all). Ole Miss

vs SE Missouri. Ole Miss

at Texas.... they seem to always start the season well, they just can't finish. Plus it's at DKR Stadium. Texas

at Alabama. Alabama

at Auburn. I think Auburn drastically underachieved last year, and Ole Miss maybe overachieved (or took advantage of other teams that underachieved). Right now, I pick Auburn, but it's a margin of 51-49 in Auburn's favor

Their game against Vandy will be very telling.

Lose it, and its a long season.

Win and they have a season mirroring last year.

Wouldn't it be the other way around?
