You have two impressive wins over Auburn and MSU.

What are y'all doing well?

Unlike Kennedy's teams, this one will punch back. Could've folded like a cheap tent vs AU when they came out hot in the 2nd half but didn't. Beat them by 15.

Same at State. Got down 10 at one time but didn't quit. Got a W on the road.

Kennedy teams relied too much on one dude to score. Our guards pick each other up when one isn't having a good game.

We have a couple freshmen that are good and could be great by the time they're done. (Buffen and Hinson)

We don't have depth and we could get exposed down low vs a team with athletic bigs.

They sure are fun to watch.

LSU is pretty athletic down low and on the wings. The guard play can be spectacular at times but seems to go though runs were they are mistake prone turning the ball over by trying to do too much.

Tomorrow night will be an interesting game.

We are still figuring it out to be honest

Coaching #1. Kermit is killing it with in game adjustments.

Our guard play is top tier in the SEC. we don’t have a ton of top 50 kids like LSU but Kermit has done a great job getting this team to maximize their skill sets. They are all vets and gaining confidence.

The bigs are the key to our team winning. We need Dom (the big 7’0 white polish guy) to play good defense.

The Pavilion will be rocking Tuesday

Incredibly efficient on offense. Terrance Davis can take over a game if he stays out of foul trouble. If you let Tyree into the lane he is going to gash you. He can take over as well.

We have 2 talented FR forwards. Hinson took over Saturday. More of a long, athletic 3 point shooter. Buffen needs about 15 LBs but is a slasher and loves to play down low. Those 2 are going to be good for a while if they stay healthy.

Kermit is getting quality D and rebounding out of Dom. Isn’t athletic enough to play man vs a lot of bigs in the league but if you can get away with playing zone, he is a decent rim protector and will help a lot on the boards.

Shuler has moved from a 2 to the main ball handler. Playing as a role player he has knocked down some big shots late. Great on call defender.

We have some pieces but lack solid interior defense. Our back court can score with anyone.

Sound a lot like the Vols this year.

Young and not a lot of quality depth, especially inside. That's what got the Vols beat by Loyola last year. Our main big, Kyle Alexander was hurt and they were able to penetrate without fear of getting swatted.

Overall, sounds like you are on the right track. And Kermit Davis knows how to beat quality teams (see State, Michigan, re 2016 NCAA tournament)

Unlike AK coached teams, we have multiple scorers.

The last three games we've had a different player score 25+. If someone's cold it's not the end of the world.

Additionally what seems to get overlooked is we finally have a pg who can run an offense effectively. He is also a sneaky good shooter.

We have 3 really good guards and 2 good freshmen forwards. This team has zero depth and foul trouble can be a disaster. The fourth guard is a former walk on and after the top 7 the roster is one of the worst in the SEC. This team gets better every game and continues to play hard every minute.

Kermit is a very, very good coach. Learned a lot from his dad.
