I mean... if they can announce the hire and he can put a staff together, probably. This year's class may be a bit of a lost cause no matter what as far as the early signing period is concerned. It's not like there's a grand slam hire out there they could land and it's going to lock down/bring back guys immediately.
Not every player is signing early, so it's not the end of the world, but they likely miss out of Alontae Taylor and Cade Mays as two players of note that seem to want to sign early? Will be interesting to see how it goes, but the longer they take to make the hire, the less it would matter whether they coach through the playoffs. There are only 11 days until the dead period (the last of which is "quiet").
