Well it sucks that we don't have the opportunity to exact revenge on Alabama but we still owe a beatdown on LSU from years ago so that will have to do.
Yearly summary: Much improved on defense...not dominant but much more pressure from the front and improved secondary (although still susceptible to the occasional big play). Offfensivley: When you have two of the greatest collegiate QB's back to back, you have to expect a drop-off and so it is. Hurt is not the explosive , accurate passer that Mayfield and Murray were. That said, hes actually more dangerous as a runner. Luckily we have the greatest offensive mind in the game and he has tailored the game to his strengths. As long as we get our best player on the field WR CeeDee Lamb about 10 to 15 looks, the offense can roll albeit not as explosively as years past.
