Oh boy, you thought the Les Miles firing was ugly

Les saved his job after he won his Super Bowl against texag7. Everyone was calling for his head after he changed nothing and he eventually was fired three weeks into the following season. LSU baseball is three weeks in to the sec schedule and looks like they’ve never played before. Paul won’t be fired midseason and you’re about to see some MELTS on this board.
For the record I think firing after the season is a classy move for a coach that’s been around for over 10 years. Midseason firing will deter interest.

people that made decisions purely on feelings flooded the internet and LSU had its own free internet focus group overnight.

Arky is good at getting bad coaches raises, got gus bus a healthy contract raise, and pretty sure they got Tommy bowden a nice contract the season before he was fired mid year. Probably one of the main reasons clemmy went the Dabo route, couldn't afford much else

It's definitely better to save a mil or two on coaches salary and put that into recruiting and stuffing envelopes.

It would be such an LSU thing to rally possum late in the season and make the CWS.
