Scott was one of the reasons I came out here as far as the introduction and the comfort level I had with him. But after being here, this place is phenomenal and I plan on being here a long time. I love the people, I love the direction we’re going, I love the commitment they have to excellence here in all phases for kids personally, academically, athletically, and then of course the Aggie network and the Aggie ring after ball. I think this place is a very unique place and I plan on being here a long time. I wish Scott and those guys the best, but we’re here to do a job, I was hired to do a job. I’m extremely happy here. People ask me, “When did you finally feel comfortable?” And I thought about it, and my answer was, “I never felt uncomfortable.” And I haven’t been since I’ve been here. This place fits my personality. I love the people. I love what’s here, and I’m planning on being here a long time. And hey, we got a job to do. And I wish them the best, but we’re going to find another great athletic director because this is a phenomenal place. And we’re going to go on, were going to win championships and do the things we’re going to do.

"I have no intention and no desire to go anywhere else," Woodward said of the idea he'd leave for LSU should the Tigers have an opening at athletic director. "People forget that I've been gone (nearly) 15 years now. I love it here. I love the people, the university and the commitment to education. Until they don't want me, I want to be here."

At least he didn't say, "I will not be the Alabama coach."

I don’t think he’s leaving this year or anything but coaches will say that and the next week they’re gone.

Gone where? I get what you are trying to do here but do you Aggies really think LSU would want Jimbo at this point. Yea I get it, its a jab that we would take Jimbo too but I feel like we dodged a bullet not getting him after what has happened to FSU.

You should pull for Orgeron to succeed at LSU

You dodged a bullet by hiring and extending O and not getting Jimbo. Am i hearing that right?

Tell me what Jimbo has accomplished that Ed O hasn't since he has been at LSU. Yes I know the FSU National Championship but even Gene Cheesedick won a natty at Auburn with a Generational QB.

Were going to win championships? Jimbo has already given up.

According to LSU we way overpaid for Jimbo. Do you really believe the man is going to take a big pay cut to move to Baton Rouge? I seriously doubt it!

Uh uh. Devil is in the details. It says "were going to win championships", as if he is conceding that it's no longer a possibility. Sorry.

What is he supposed to say? “Now that Scott left I’m going to start looking around!”??

Really, Ed’s done better than Jimbo. Ed was able to score 72 points in a game and still lose. Jimbo ain’t never managed to accomplish that.
