Today's games:

Mizzou-Arkansas battling right now. Arkansas (50 NET) on the bubble, has to have this win. Mizzou (57 NET) would have to make a real run in the tournament to be considered for an at-large bid. Arkansas leads 41-40 at half. Chrissy Carr en fuego with 22 points on 7-of-8 shooting.

MSU-A&M - MSU is safely in, should roll over lowly Aggies;

Auburn-Georgia - Georgia (34) should be safe, but a win would lock them into the tournament. Auburn is out.

Alabama-Kentucky - Bama is in regardless of outcome, Kentucky is out.

Top four seeds (SC, LSU, UT, Ole Miss) await the winners.

Just a feeling I have, but I think LSU may well lose to UGA tomorrow. We beat UGA in OT at the PMAC and UGA is a hot team now. I heard CKM downplay the SEC Ty and said we are stuck on the #2 seed line no matter what we do in Greenville. We are NOT gonna throw the game, but our motivation may be lacking. Just a hunch.

Whatever happens in Greenville, I will be in the PMAC for the BR Regional games March 17-20. Its been a fun and a GREAT season so far.

I agree. Not much to play for and UGA plays LSU tough. Tigers’ rotation is so short, they are getting tired out. Hard to play with just 7-8 people every game.

Exactly. The more rest we get between now and March 17 the better.

Can you imagine if we should beat UGA in a tight game then beat Tenn in a tight game then play Carolina all in less than 48 hours?

Only way I see LSU getting a 1 seed is by winning the tournament, and that might not even be enough. I'm with you, could be best just to lose early.

just saw the fight b/t UK/FLA yesterday - they some upset players

Greenville/Bon Secours Arena/SEC office may have a bigger issue on their hands before the weekend is done. there's no highly distinguished half-court line extending all the way across the court through the SEC logo.

as clumsy as WBB is - there's bound to be some call/non-call of a back court violation that will cause more controversy.

We are better than we have been but I'm growing concerned that we've hit a ceiling for our women's team. We knock off a highly ranked team, but lose 3 or 4 games to teams we should have run out of the building. Rinse and repeat the next year.

The in state talent is strong but we just can't seem to turn the corner.

Nice job. I'm personally good with this because we have no shot at winning this so let's just get out ASAP for the tournament.

I don't know, one and done tournament style play can lead to anything. UK actually had a big comeback against us last year and won the tournament as a 7-seed.

If Carr gets hot she can keep us in the game but we don't stack up well (who does?) with LSU or USC this season. Too much down low for us to overcome unless we just go bonkers from outside.

I thought we only have 6 players active right now? I’ll have to check out the highlights

Sorry. :)

Nice way for Ags to finish the season. They were ravaged by injuries all year.
