So far so good. We just can't go on one of our signature scoring droughts in the second half

Everyone plays "terribly" against Alabama. That's what they want.
Just Bama offense usually is more terrible.

I was hoping we'd just get it out of the way in the first half and be done with it.

I'm not really bitching, just making an observation: when we score 30 plus in a half I just feel like our offense is on track.
not even kidding, lowered expectations are the way to go.

Or we get off to such a big lead it doesn't end up mattering (like against Georgia)

Well, it barely didn't matter against Georgia

We haven't been able to do it all year but we need to keep our foot on the accelerator in the last 5-10 minutes of the game. Always seems like we get complacent and try to run out the clock instead of taking the good shot

You dream big. I have stopped having any expectations for this team.

1 point combined for Cooper, Lacey, and Jacobs. You could argue that's a good sign, in that we played ok without them and you would think they would have to add something in the second half.
I've barely noticed Cooper. I've noticed Lacey, just not in a good way.

We gotta stop holding the 5-stars against him. Not his fault recruiting sites were retarded and gave him a 5-star solely based off of athleticism and potential. He's been playing MUCH better the last couple games.

He really has improved lately. I'm really hoping he figures himself out over the offseason, b/c he IS talented, he just looks lost

Cooper made a nice cut to get open and rattled out an 8 footer

You gonna bump your LSU beating UF threads now?

If Lacey doesn't play at all in the 2nd half, not one tear will be shed from me.

Oh I know. It wasn't meant just for you. Just in general.

Lacey's just way to streaky.

Agree. He has 5* athleticism but it seems he came in a lot less prepared for the college game than most highly rated prospects.
He still panics a bit with the ball but it's clear he's clearly getting a lot more comfortable and playing a bit smarter -- like passing up that three when the pass pulled him a bit off balance near the end of the half.
He'll end up being a really good player and what Grant needs in terms of athletic guys to run his press.
