I'm not sure, with all these bubble teams losing, losing to a team like Florida might not hurt.

According to Tim Brando, we aren't good enough to even be considered a bubble team. I was listening to Brando on XM 91 yesterday and he talked about how he could see Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Kentucky making a run this weekend and the SEC getting 2 bids out of the 3. Absolutely no mention of Alabama whatsoever. It's as if we had already been eliminated from the tournament.
As for Florida, I just don't like our chances against them. We have the hardest time with Florida since Donovan has been there. Like someone else said, I wish he'd throw his protege a bone.

Alabama played UF very tough in Gainesville recently even holding a decent lead midway second half....They CAN win this game.
As for Brandeaux he doesn't recognize any of Bama 's football BCS titles that is one Bama hating corndog.
If by some twist of fate they should win this tournament he'd still argue they shouldn't get a bid.

This is what gives me a little bit of hope. That and the fact that we are WAY WAY WAY overdue for a win over Florida in basketball. I also think we'll have a lot of fans there tomorrow with Bham only being a 3 hour drive away and Huntsville only an hour and a half away. The Kentucky fans in attendance will likely be pulling for us too.
