Oh old SEC before the Westerners from Texas and damn Yankees from Missouri hijacked you. Back when you were actually the SouthEastern conference.
Back when you had frequent games against the other division. Rather than having one home game against most opposite division teams every 12 years.
Oh the old days. I miss you old SEC.

I think you meant 10 team. Arkansas and South Carolina still aren't SEC teams.

We ain't never been in the damned Big 12.
We've been in a conference with Missouri exactly as long as y'all have. We've never had series in any sport worth talking about with the majority of the Big 12.

South Carolina and Arkansas are like the Irish and Italian immigrants who maintained some of their unique cultural heritage while simultaneously and seemlessly culturally assimilating. It was a bit odd at first having 12 but they've been good additions IMO.
Missouri and Texas A&M are Middle Eastern and Hispanic...absolutely refusing to attempt to peacefully coalesce in their new home. They do not fit in and need to recant their heathen past and convert to the SEC ways.
There, that ought to rustle some jimmies this morning.

Arkansas was never in the Big 12.
Arkansas was actually going to get excluded from the Big 8/12 in the 90s. Texas Tech and Baylor had so much political power. Both had to get in the Big 12 over Arkansas
Once Broyles was informed Arky wouldn't get into the Big 12 he had little choice but to move to the SEC. If he didn't get the SEC invitation Arkansas would have ended up in the WAC or CUSA.
