I saw one news report describing it as a monumental thing which served as a message to all women that they could accomplish great things in life and then the kick itself was described as a planned squib kick in which she gave her team a chance to make the recovery.

Well they are spinning it as she was pouch kicking. First that was a terrible pouch kick. Pouch kicks should be high so the team can run down there to attempt to field the ball. This kick was low and no one on the kick team had a shot to field it.
Also how many times has Vandy pouched a kick this year? Was that the “strategy” of vandy because that is all she could do?
Did vandy never get in field goal range or did they just not get in field goal range of #32?

And you also have to fit their certain criteria of diversity which means thinking the exact same way they do.
