Might be because none of those teams would have allowed 400 yards rushing to Ole Miss.

I'm a diehard LSU fan but I can't argue with this. If this was one game we could just say "hangover from bama" but it's not. The D has been troubling all year. Anyone doubting LSU just might be the #1 team is completely justified. The good news is LSU has the chance to prove it.

Maybe because the voters are... wrong sometimes, even when they have a string consensus. For example, #1 seed has never won the playoffs.
