Of all the years Tennessee goes looking for an A-list coach....

They pick the absolute worst year to do it. So many high profile programs are coming open/will be open before the season ends in two or three weeks. If/when Jon Gruden gives them the cold shoulder, pickings are going to be slim.

VOLS will have a coach within the next week or so imo. Currie has been stressing geting someone in plenty of time before the early signing period

I think they'll wait until he has some HC experience at a smaller school. Right now, he's a recruiting machine and decent OC but the powers that be aren't going to trot out a coach who hasn't been an HC unless they have to.
