i think they pretty definitively showed they can be about as good as anyone. both made lots of really, really good throws and not many bad ones. granted, it helps to have really, really good wr's.

but it's all moot. bama will win again. it's all about jockeying for 2nd place - again. yawn.

it wouldn't surprise me if the lsu d struggles from a scheme standpoint, at least early on. not because dco is bad, just new to this level of running things. he's got a small army of analysts so, that's not an excuse. it will just be about making the right call at the right time. he did have a really highly ranked d2 d at one time so i think he has the potential.

The question at LSU is the coordinators. They have talent. The head coach is a legitimate moron, and the coordinators haven't really ever called plays. I think the new DC called some plays a long time ago ...

I'm looking forward to them being mediocre once again. Probably a T15 team would be the ceiling for their season, unless the coordinators pan out

Think about Bo Pelini! That is more likely what we will be seeing once again this fall! Good Luck!

yet, he's made some incredible hires that worked out famously, won a national championship and seems to make players better.

but let me guess, he talks funny

this always cracks me up. he's won an impressive number of sec games in 3 seasons. if the sec is the toughest conference, then he can't possibly be stupid. if he's stupid, then he can't possibly win that many games. you can't have it both ways. no one can win that many games in the toughest conference by luck or merely talent. the two are mutually exclusive. i know. i probably just short circuited your brain with that concept.

I think A&M will do much better this upcoming season. It would not surprise me for us to lose 2.

Arkansas won't be 8-4. LSU probably will though.

I think you’re right about Arkansas. I was too bullish on them. They might get 7-5, though.

Who else? Alabama, of course.

Idiot statement. So much discord most of the starters who could have gone pro, are returning.

Ed has a more recent natty than does the aggy coach. Not only that, Ed has won the SEC, the aggy coach hasn't won squat in the SEC.
