At Texas A&M Mike Leach was 7-3 vs the Aggies

And if you subtract the 1st year where he had to rebuild and the last year where that BS Craig James tried to BS him, he was 7-1.

That's right between 2001 and 2008 Mike Leach was 7-1 vs Texas A&M

In essence Aggie was just a garunteed win for Texas Tech under Leach like Texas Southern or Mississippi Valley is.

Ouch!

Remember that Texas Tech was a perennial top 25 team under Mike Leach

I know what you meant lol. I’m just saying there was disparity between Texas Tech and Texas A&M during that time. A&M was kind of up and down, while Tech was winning 8 or 9 games every year.

Tulane Fan, I've been a fan of you since I saw you posting when we played you in basketball. I wish we played more often in all sports cause we were cool SEC Rivals/Nonconference Rivals. I like Tulane.

Bravo my man.

Yeah he was the winningest coach in Texas Tech History too.

Yes this is the reason I'm partying tonight. We have a team that I'm not only not going to be ashamed of anymore but that I can be proud of Hail State!!!

The Dawgs are going to replace the Aggies as the perennial 4th place team in the league for the foreseeable future

Leach vs Fritz is an interesting matchup. I hope it’s a good game.

If Moorhead was still our coach you would've beaten us then. And I'm not shitting

I'm sure you know this but you're one of our most played non SEC Opponents with Memphis and that's why I have a soft spot for both of y'all cause we were all right there.

My father grew up watching us play Memphis and Tulane at MSU and that's why I've always said we should schedule homes and homes with Memphis and Tulane before any other programs.

Troy? UAB? Southern Mississippi? Arkansas State? Louisiana Tech? Louisiana Lafayette? frick them! Memphis and Tulane were there with us from the beginning!

It’s a different time and a different era.

Leach will have trouble winnng in this league unless he has a defensive renaissance.

The big loser of the Mississippi hires is Jimbo.
In a year or two, only Arkansas will be a guaranteed West win.

Fixed it.

It'll be interesting to say the least now that he's in the SEC.

Curious to see how long it takes him to get a quarterback to his liking, and how much success the scheme has in the league this day and age.

Leach’s 7-3:
2-1 against RC slocum, who hung around 5 years too long.
4-1 against Dennis Franchione, who was responsible for the worst A&M football program for at least the last 40 years.
1-1 against Mike Sherman, who kicked leach’s arse in Lubbock by 3 TDs the last time leach played A&M.

I actually love the dude, the fat girlfriend line is one of the best in college football and one a lot of these kids need to hear. Leach and college football go hand and hand so I’m glad he’s in the SEC, just wish he could have gone to Tennessee. Not that he won’t overachieve at State but I think he really would have made some noise at Tennessee.
