sure the lawsuit has nothing to do with his son's desire to transfer.

I wouldn’t assume Cade has that desire. He is probably just doing what his dad is making him do.

Wait, when did Tom Mars stop working for the NCAA?

Surely he can't do both at the same time.

What happens is Kirby lies to these kids to get them on campus no matter what and then when they get there they realize he was full of shite and look for any reason to transfer and be eligible immediately. First Fields now Mays

OL is totally different from QB

Only 1 QB can play, with OL you have 5 different slots to compete for, plus this guy started for 10+ games and was likely to be a Starter next season

This kid has played a ton, plus there's no way to rig the competition at OLine like Kurby did with the QB competition between Fromm & Fields

Your comment is reckless with the level of deception that you put forward

“The Mays family has never said a word to anyone about Kevin Mays’ lawsuit,” Mars wrote to Knox News. “The timing of the news stories about Mr. Mays’ lawsuit makes clear that UGA leaked this story to sports writers today after Cade delivered a letter to Kirby Smart late (Tuesday) explaining the reason he’s leaving Kirby’s program.

“In fact, one sports writer I spoke with earlier today confirmed that’s how he found out about the lawsuit. I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised that UGA is continuing to take the low road about the lawsuit, but in my opinion, directing sports writers to Mr. Mays’ lawsuit set a new record low for UGA Athletics.”

Outside of his practice, Mars is under contract with NCAA Enforcement as an independent enforcement advocate on standby basis without compensation. He’s part of a team of professionals who will handle enforcement cases that might be assigned to the NCAA’s Complex Case Unit. NCAA Enforcement is not involved in transfer waivers, which are decided by the Committee for Legislative Relief.

Mars’ contract prevents him from representing anyone in a matter involving alleged infractions of the NCAA rules. He is not prohibited from representing student-athletes or advising schools in matters regarding eligibility.

what the hell is going on in Georgia?

My guess:

1. Daddy Mays couldnt take the constant harassment from his meth buddies about his boy going to UGA.
2. They concocted this ridiculous story about how his wife's butthole is negatively impacted by his loss of his dominant pinkie to get Cade out of sitting.
3. Probably didnt realize that his wife's unloved butthole would be worse on the family than Cade staying at UGA for another year and going to the NFL.

It is decided.

The school apparently leaked the case after Cade gave his letter to Kirby.

This is straight from the Tom Mars/Dan Wolken school of not realizing that your opinion can instantly be proven wrong by the fact that it’s public record

Can we just appreciate that this lawsuit actually claims the following:

“The injury to the finger has kept Mays from work including duck hunting, real estate and hay businesses.”

Have you ever had a severed finger? My brother lost one and had it reattached and a couple of employees of my dads had them cut off on machine punches. You cant do a lot for risk of infection. So I see the hay and hunting aspect, RE though... come on
