It’s best for the league if bama wins. Lol

Not this one, the bias is and has always been from fans not the refs.

If you are over 50 and involved in SEC football there is no doubt. At least Bear was nice about it versus sexually assaulting, murdering, tree killing, cheating bastards now

The problem is that the refs are fans. The refs have Alabama memorabilia all over their offices at their nsurance agencies or law offices.
Their kid or brother or cousins or brother in law or even themselves played or does play for Alabama. If not, they live in Alabama and are entrenched in that environment where the scarlet A is everywhere.
If a ref that lives in Alabama makes a call that cost them a game, the Bama faithful will poison their trees and shoot them with shotguns. Bama fans have been known to murder Auburn fans when Auburn wins the Iron Bowl. It has happened.

SEC refs run the risk of being whacked by the REC if they go off the reservation

me too and his name is David Smith and he was a qb for Bama in the late 80's and officials are not allowed to work games for their alma mater, I bet some officials are LSU grads too, but they aren't allowed to call LSU games

Let’s move the SEC office to Wisconsin

Wasnt David Smith the instant replay official for the LSU- Ol Miss game last year and confirmed the BS targeting call on Devin White??

This one always amuses me, let's say the officials are corrupt, wouldn't the solution be to remove the officials? Moving the offices accomplishes nothing, I can wire money to Wisconsin just as easily as to Birmingham. Your solution wouldn't even fix your imaginary problem.

I believe he was the head official for that game, not sure if he threw the flag, but final ruling of that targeting came from the offices, not from him. I didn't like the call either, but it was not David Smith's call.

How many live in Alabama and officiate games Bama plays in? Another thing is that the sec office sees Bama as their best chance to win a NC and will not let them get taken down and miss a chance for the sec to play for a NC so they frick everyone else. This has been going on for decades. The main office must be moved from Alabama.
