Notable State Flagship Institutions of the SEC

University of Alabama
University of Arkansas
University of Florida
University of Georgia
University of Kentucky
Louisiana’s State University
University of Missouri
University of South Carolina
University of Tennessee
Flagship institutions of SEC states who possibly joined the league with a founding member state institution but have enough pull politically and financially in their respective states now to block in state rivals from joining the league.
These institutions should be commended.
Note: Ole Miss & Mississippi State is considered a “Push” in these regards.
