Not Trolling but Has anyone else ever canceled a game

7to protect their spot in the post season. Those poor guys who lost an entire year playing baseball (whether they were in high school or college) due to Covid deserve the opportunity to play the game they love as much as possible. Shame on you Aggie.

Why in the living frick does it matter. IWU is freaking awful. A&M has beaten way better teams on Tuesday nights so far this season. Playing the game is pointless when it would be a 9-1 game? Any Power 5 team playing a nobody on the last Tuesday night of the regular season is stupid as shite.

Because beating them hurts your RPI. You are canceling to protect your post season positioning. The point is y'all are failing to play your schedule to protect your spot. I would think those Incarnate Word players many of whom probably grew up Aggie fans but didn't have the physical talents to play there were looking forward to having that moment of playing in College Station. After a year of their careers was taken away from them. Then you frickers go cancel in order to protect your spot.

This is such a bull shite take and mindset. It’s the whole reason why the fricking game is played. Should every team just cancel its entire season and say they went undefeated bc they think they “should” win every game….
Braves won the fall classic last year when everyone said that the Dodgers or ‘stros were the clear cut favorite…. LSU’s practice squad played the T8&4’s 1st string in football and won. And I swear y’all Faggies said this same shite all week…
The game should go down as a loss, and I wonder what hurts more, a W against a team with such a bad RPI or an L against that team? It’s Bull shite to skip it; so many different things can happen over the course of 9 innings that can potentially affect future games. Not playing that game means you essentially “cheat” the system and gain an unfair advantage over other teams that didn’t pussy out
