Not to get lost in all this - Nick Chubb is now #2 all time in SEC rushing yards ...

I assume Fournette and/or Guice is #1. Still - heck of an achievement for Mr. Chubb. Especially given his horrific knee injury in year 2. Amazing.

Great career for a good kid and he has a chance to finish on top!

There should be an asterisks next to the records since LF7 left early.

Knew he couldnt average more than 2 yards a carry versus their rival
Was a smart man

Herschel Walker couldn't run with 9 men in the box... Solid analysis though

Nick's freshman year he was 4th string, didn't start until end of the season.
In his sophomore year, he season was ended in week 5.
In his junior year, he "wasn't himself" because of the previous year's injury.
His senior year is now.
So even though he's been on the roster for 4 full years, he has really only played in 3 years worth of games.
And is still better than Guice.

They do when they actually care about the team. Just like Chubb won't sit out his bowl game.

Most backs don’t stay in school for 4 years. Injuries or no injuries. Chubb will make a nice 5th or 6th round draft pick.

I see you're still on your typical idiotic anti-UGA schtick.

He only started about 10 games in his first 2 seasons and has always had another elite back (if not several) to split carries with.
And he just. Keeps. Racking. Up. Yards.
Nick Chubb is approaching Cam levels of SEC triggering. LSU and Auburn fans can't sit still at the mention of his name

Couldn't happen to a more deserving young man. He is the epitome of a role model. Hopefully kids watch him and his actions. He's a good dood.

He is our version of Tim Tebow right now. Damn Good Dawg

Yep. Coaches around the SEC would have put 9 men in the box against Herschel if not for our vaunted air raid attack featuring Buck Belue and his whopping 7 yards passing against Notre Dame in the 1981 Sugar Bowl.
