Seems like 1978 was kind of the height of the Charlie's Angel craze... That was when Farrah Fawcett went off of the show and kind of ended her reign as the #1 hot chick.
In music Olivia Newton John and Linda Ronstadt were the two I remember that were the hot chick types. I don't remember Stevie Nix being a really big sex symbol but that was mostly because she was part of a group... Fleetwood Mac was considered a serious musical act so they didn't really market Stevie as some sort of sex pot.

Yep I was only 9 then but the years right after that Nix wasn't considered a sex symbol like some others were.
