I am enjoying the hell out of the other dramas taking place week to week between other teams. Like Kiffin going back to Knoxville with the Vols showing a pulse again. Auburn-Georgia, Georgia-Florida. Iron Bowl. The Hog’s resurgence and the Aggies folding like a cheap tent. Endless entertainment.

I was at full acceptance before the season. I accept that we have what we have in Eddie O and not much more

You'll always have 2019...

The second best season in college football history.

We are having an asterisk season. Injured QB and all. Y’all just suck.

I guess I was in denial due to ignorance. I wrote off last year due to COVID and losing so many players to the draft. LSU doesn't reload like Bama does.

Not it's clear LSU not only doesn't reload but it can't even develop a functional O-line.

Now all the anxiety is about who Woody will bring in. I think he did well with the baseball hire. Mulkey obviously was a slam dunk. Chris Petersen was a good hire. We all laugh about Jimbo but he was actually a decent hire -- the dumb part was the Aggies extending him prematurely when there was nobody seriously looking to steal him away.

The real meltdown potential for LSU fans is if O somehow pulls out enough wins to save his job a la Lesticles in 2015. Though I doubt you'll have the governor and school prez meddling this time around. Unlike Alleva, Woody is a political pro and if he decides it is time for O to go, he will make damn sure to get everybody on board and make it happen. Woody is a leader. Alleva knew what needed to be done but instead blamed everyone else for tying his hands and kept the receipts. frick that. Woody is a man of action.
