Usually 6-2 is the more elusive record with Alabama, LSU, and Tennessee in that club. UGA is in the exclusive 8-0 club.

The SEC is a dog fight every year, usually with most of the league cannibalizing each other.

Good year, everyone. And I'll be honest, LSU was a few plays from being 4-4 or worse this year in the league. I think we're not as good as our record showed. Could have easily lost at Arkansas, at Auburn, and to Alabama.

Inches make the difference, like the 2-pt conversion or Bernard-Converse being at the right spot to intercept Young on Alabama's early drive. If that doesn't happen, Alabama had a good chance to make it a different game. What a difference that one play made. If it fails, Alabama is 11-1 (7-1) and clearly in the playoff picture. Margin of error is razor sharp and thin. This game is a true enigma of countless possibilities. Get two good teams on a field and only God knows what will happen.

Thanks for a good year

It has been an interesting year. Alabama could have been 12-0 just as easily as we could have been 8-4. Lots of very close games.

Worst record was 2-6 in the SEC held by 3 teams.
