With my two favorite teams, A&M and LSU, both off this week, I decided to check out some games of note from outside our fine conference. Here are three games where scrappy little teams are hoping to upset the favorites:

1. Michigan and Michigan St battle as a pair of unbeatens. (Michigan is a 2.5 point favorite)

2. #9 Iowa plays 4-2 Wisconsin, but Wisconsin is the 3 pt favorite.

3. Baylor (6-1) looks to disappoint a Texas team who is hoping for an upset. (Baylor is a 2.5 pt favorite.)

On the face of it Michigan should boatrace Michigan State, but this is the perfect setup for one of Harbaugh's annual frickups.

Nice idea for a thread.

I actually think this might be a good weekly feature (contained to one post).

I for one spend so much time focusing on the conference, it'd be nice to look in on a thread about other games with national impacts, or those that might directly affect other SEC teams in the rankings, SOS, etc.

We obviously have a MSB, but I think it would be cool if we kept an SEC-slant, right?

He was just wanting to point out that Baylor was favored against Texas. All the rest was window dressing

Baylor is favored over Texas? I guess so. That didn't even really sink in. But now that you mention it, that is pretty embarrassing for our friends in Austin.

Is Wake Forest for real? Is the ACC and Pac-12 going to be left out of the playoffs? Is Oregon playing? I need to check out the standings and schedule too

Michigan/MSU will go a long way towards resolving the B1G pileup at the top

If Wake Forest goes 13-0, shouldn't they get in the playoff?
